HR Screening Services is a consumer-reporting agency (CRA) and in that capacity, we gather and collect work-related information on prospective employees for the clients that we serve. The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) is the main law governing our industry and covers all consumer reports made for a number of purposes, including the purpose of considering the consumer’s eligibility for employment. Accordingly, consumer reports subject to the FCRA must be used in a manner compliant with FCRA requirements. The FCRA includes requirements applicable to the consumer reporting agency and the employer. Before becoming a client of HR Screening Services, a company represenative will forward more detailed information on the FCRA to you for your review and signature.
